I have a problem with my EPG.

I am watching television with mediaportal and DVBlink TVsource (tries 3.1 and the newest 3.2)

Watching television is no problem, but the PEG doesn't work. When I use the plugin WebEPG, it takes one our to grab the EPG information, and after that there is missing a lot of information for a lot of channels.

I also tried the XMLTV plugin, but he says all the time: "no xmltv file found"

Wy does he not grab the right EPG information of the stream from DVBlink? I am using the right settings I gues. When I watch television without DVBLink tv source, the EPG information is right! But that resulted in zap times of 30/40 seconds.

Is there a solution to solve this problem?

The WebEPG plugin grabs the EPG for *some* channels from various websites. It is not guaranteed that all the channels that you have will be supported by this plugin.

XMLTV requires that you provide an XML file containing the EPG data. Do you have such a file, and did you enter the correct path to that file?

Did you enable the EPG scanner in TV Server configuration? See the attached picture...

Please post your TV Server logs so we can see what was taking so long (see the link in my signature for instructions).

powermarcel10, did you manage to fix this problem? I'm experiencing the same problem. I found out that DVBLink version 3.2 does not broadcast EPG data on the emulated DVB-S tuners anymore whereas DVBLink version 3.1 still did according to the rumors. Haven't tested this myself. What I did for the moment is enable direct access to one of my DVB-C tuners in Team Media Portal TV Server, but make it have the lowest priority (so it will be chosen last, after the four emulated DVB-S tuners from DVBLink). Then open up the database used by Team Media Portal. In the table where the tuners are listed (don't know it's name from my head, but let me know if I need to look up its name for you), there is a column which has a boolean flag (True/False) to indicate if the card should be used for EPG grabbing. I set them all to false except the direct access to the DVB-C tuner. This will cause TVServer to grab EPG data directly from the tuner, but stream TV from one of the four emulated DVB-S tuners. It seems to work well, however I wonder what happens if conflicts arise between DVBLink and TVServer wanting to talk to the same physical DVB-C tuner at the same time. Time will tell.

If anyone has a better solution, please do tell.
