I work for a university and we are trying to replace out legacy analog off-air recording service with a nice new pure digital system. The system we are trialing uses 3 Dual DVB-T tuners in a Dell rack mount server to feed our Off Air recording service.

So far the system has been brilliant, allowing us to record any freeview channels (there are only 6 multiplexes used to carry all the freeview channels in the UK) at any time.

I'm having a problem with the dates in filenames with TV Server recordings. The leading zeros in the hours/minutes using the %starthh% and %startmm% are not being given leading zeros.

Here's a list of some of todays recording in order they recorded:
BBC TWO_20071012_130.ts
BBC TWO_20071012_1330.ts
BBC TWO_20071012_140.ts
BBC TWO_20071012_1430.ts
BBC TWO_20071012_150.ts

As you can see, we're scheduling recordings in half hour chunks, but the leading zero on the minute is not there. The same happens with the hour:
BBC TWO_20071012_80.ts
BBC TWO_20071012_830.ts

I've searched the forums for similar issues but havn't found any, is this a known issue ? If not, could it be fixed easily ? This is so far the only issue we would have with this. It has been flawlessly recording 7 channels 24 hours a day for the last two days, even saving the files to network storage without hitch.

Having left this recording all weekend, it turns out this is slightly more of a problem, as there are duplicated filenames. Recordings at 0230 and 2300 result in the same filename. ...230.ts. Likewise with 0130 and 1300.

Has anyone got a solution to this ?

Apart from this issue, it has recorded over 700GB of freeviw in the last 4 days, flawlessy. Great work everyone
