@ Vergo your idea is good. I'll try that. Can you make me a basichome.xml with your idea to test this? i've tried to change the basichome without success im a dumbhead

Now i have a working version ready. Tonight I will upload this version, if I dont find any bugs.
At the moment it supports only one rss feed and the requested weather data.

Ok i think its ready. i have tested it not so much. Because of that, tell me if something is wrong. By the way you need .net framework 3.5!

How can i install this skin?
I have download the *.rar file and replace the files in \Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\skin.
But, when i start MP, the skin is the same as StreamedMP.

Because the skin is the same
Only moving pictures section is changed.

What do you have in mind? The list control or poster control or ... ?

personally, i prefer the list view with posters in dvd-cover format rather than the wide-banners or whatever they're called. And i'm sorry if i'm missing anything here, haven't tried this yet since i'm far away from home atm. I like how this mod looks, kind of a refreshing look, with the now playing up in the corner, the gradient overlay over the fanart. I also think it gives a better total impression if all the parts of MP follows one design line, so tv-series should look exactly like moving pictures as far as it's possible...

Yeah, I think it'd look much more professional if the TVseries matched.

I personally use the banner view but obv do whichever you want. It's more the next screen with the overlay I'm bothered about, the faded overlay to match the one on your mode would look much better.

I dont know what you'd do with the overlay at the top of the screen though, cos in tvseries it contains the details of the file (720p, xvid, DD5.1 etc).
