Nice work spuck, here's what I had so far, these are not mockups . I may just nick some of your ideas though .

I'll be working away from home for a few days next week so hopefully I can get some serious skinning work done in the evenings

I'll probably just make my own xml when you release the skin.

Couldn't wait so I modified some 1280x720 skin so I can move it over later.

Still gotta redo the logos, can barely see the borders when i use my projector.

It's still coming, I had a bit of a problem with my laptop - but I've sorted it out now and work continues...

Because you based your skin on xface, not sure up to which point, please have a look at its bugs and wanted features that i posted here:

I really like the horizontal arrows in the filmstrip view, thats a touchup! But you forgot that in the vertical listings the scrolling arrows are switched. This happens in xface and in your other skins as well, please fix it

Monochrome is based on the ReVision skin actually, I've just used the new xml code for action menus and harley's filmstrip graphics. I'll have a look at those scrolling arrows .
