I'm having misplaced strings like the date on the main page or song titles in my music and overall cropping under 1280x768 (I've taken a look at the xmls and see that you define 1280x720 as the resolution but unfortunately my ATI card does not support it for some reason so I'm stuck with a 15/9 aspect ratio. Is there a simple way top convert the skin for 15/9?

Hey psycho
Tested your skin today - great stuff.
now I want to mod my revision skin skin a little bit for my own. I need a little help: I want to use the background-dialog.png and others from monocrome for it.In which xml must I search for the position of it?

Great stuff!
I'm not sure how to do this so I'll ask here. How can I make the skin a bit more overscan friendly? I would lake to make a margin of about 15 pixels extra to the screen borders. I'm guessing that would make it fit on my over scanned tv correctly.

the easy way would be in settings where you can resize the skin to fit your screen

@ all, glad you like the updates ;).

I've seen a lot of questions regarding overscan and resolution. The current problem I have is that the output from my htpc is 1280x720. I used to have a system with an nVidia gfx card, now I have onboard gfx (ReVision/Replicant are designed for 1366x768). I am more than willing to rework the skin to 1366x768 and incorporate overscan if you guys can help me sort out my display problems. Just so this thread doesn't get "off topic" I'll start a new thread in one of the support forums with all the details later. If "we" can resolve this then I have no problem reworking the skin ;)

Monochrome alpha version has recently replaced ReVision on my MediaPortal PC and my girlfriend and me really like the look of it!

Just some input after using it since the alpha is out:
I'm running it with 1360x768 on a 27" LCD and find the active element in home screen or symbol/list views a bit hard to recognize. It's a white border and we were used to see some 'overlay' effect on the active element and not just a border. Just like on this screenshot.

Don't really have a exact proposal to enhance this. Do other feel the same about this?

Yes , I think so ,too. How about not only a white frame - better a filled out Textfield in white - or better ORANGE -> this would be a great contrast against the black!

What did you guys think - is it possible?
    psycho?
