@ Darre, dwoodzz & emphatic - actually it's three files - Configuration.exe, Core.dll and WindowPlugins.dll. Zeflash made a couple of other changes so I'd rather wait to see if he wants these files "in the wild" before sharing them. Hope you undertand .

Thanks for the xml's. The info looks great its just i never read it so thought it would look cool without it.

Appreciate the work on this, the picture/music sections are amazing.

I have set the picture thumb zoom to yes as it was by default set to no. The picture thumbs now zoom to fill the box like i want. However is there anyway to have it zoom to the middle of the picture rather than the top?

Thanks Psycho this is the best mediaportal skin so far in my opinion and now that it has movie infos on filmstrip view it's almost perfect!!

Love this skin but I think I found a bug in MyMusic.
When I start playing an mp3 album there appears a small Cover of it on the down left screen side. When I enter than and leave "Now playing" the small Cover is disappeared.
I have to restart MP to get the small cover of actual playing music.

The same problem was in a previous version of the skin "Xface"

You can share them - if they blow up someone's computer I'm not responsible

I tried to reactiveate the IMDB view with the 1.2 release but couldn't get anything working properly.
I swapped the common.facade.videoimdb with the video one, and did the same for myvideo, yet I didn't get the result I expected. So I reverted to an older version until I know how to do it with 1.2.

Also, I was wondering, if you show the list on the left side now for videos, shouldn't it be the same for all other lists in the skin? series, etc . It's a lot of work obviously, but it would be more consistent throughout the skin.
Or, I can just try to figure out what the bug is in MP and fix it - and post a patch and wait for it to be included

I'm not entirely sure how the whole zoom thing actually works, if I rember correctly I had the same problem as you in the past, that's why I stopped using zoom. Have a look at a skin that works the way you want and start tinkering with the xmls .

You should be able to rename "myvideo for IMDB view.xml" to "myvideo.xml" and it should work.

Thanks, i have tried editing existing skins in the past to tweak them to my personal taste. However this is so close so i thought id start with this skin. Zooming to the top is fine for now, still looks really good.

I just need to figure out out to close the spacing between thumbnails and zoom to the middle and im set.

I have downloaded the "shares view" patched files by zeflash, but I don't get the new stuff to work with 1.2.
Basically, in shares, I just get the regular list, icons or movie posters. If I change view to actors or year or so, I get the new look. Zeflash wrote that he reverted to a pre-1.2 version of Monochrome. What files would that be? Could someone in possession of these .xmls please post them here? Or is there something besides "show IMDB data for shares" that needs to be changed in Configuration?


Edit: Just read your 777 post. Will try renaming the .xml.

This is very exciting. Hope it will be a part of MediaPortal real soon.
