Moving Menu Bar (2 Viewers)

I just started using MediaPortal, along with StreamedMP. So far, it's great and seems pretty easy to configure. One thing I'd like to change, however, is the position of the vertical menu bar at the main screen. Right now, it's in the center of the screen. I would like to move it to the left-hand side of the screen, similar to how it is in Basic Home mode. I have some custom wallpapers for each menu item that I would like to be able to show off a bit more. Is there a simple way to do this? Perhaps a value in one of the XML files?

hi go in my home.xml to menu change the posx 50 to wathever you want and change the homebladeleft with streamed_album_preview_thumb_background.png and the valeus offcourse and it should be good

Thanks. It works great now. I just wasn't sure exactly what xml file I needed to modify. I didn't want to mess anything else up in the process. Now it looks great.

hi nice to hear its working now good advice make a backup of your skinfolder when its going wrong you can put back the orginal xml
a other advice when you have lets say <posX>1244</posX> then make a reminder --1244-- so its look like this
<posX>1244</posX>--1244-- so you can never loose the orginal position

Yeah, I was sure to make a backup of all the files I changed (xml, as well as background images) just in case. I definitely like it better now that the menu bar is off to the side and I can get a little more color from the custom backgrounds.

I'm just starting to use MediaPortal, and I am constantly impressed by the customization options I have in it.

I'd like to move my normal home to the left of the screen as well.

Can someone please translate the above into step-by-step instructions? I can't even find a file named "home.xml" in the latest version (MP 1.1 beta / 0.9x of StreamMP).
