Hmmm, interesting result. So to be clear: you made a change on the server that had a positive effect for the ZBOX client... but another client connected to the same server has no problem?

If increasing the process priority makes a difference, it suggests there is contention for resources... or maybe the power saving "features" are saving too much power.

Did anybody yet suggest to check DPC Latency?

Yes, that's the fact. And to be sure about this effect I have now 3 Clients in the House. two working very good and one not..
But to end this story I've decided to make a fresh Win7 installation on the ZBOX.
The WAF is decreasing and I have to keep the mood above a certain level..

p.s. I guess this effect comes from updating mediaportal from one version to another.. but i'll keep you posted if the fresh win7 will solve the issue.

problem solved by reinstalling win7.
