    Title says it all ....

made several attempts with the update, TvPlugin did not appear in the install screen. MP will not start without the correct TvPlugin.

Can someone send me the required files?

    Thanks!

Are you saying that on the pre-install summary screen, the tile for "TV Server" was present, but the tile for the "TV Plugin" was not present? If this is the case, one of the developers will need to look at the logic in the installer to identify what the installer is checking in order to decide to omit the "TV Plugin" tile. @ajs @Pablik ?

It is a dedicated client. The "TV Server" tile was correctly absent, but the "TV Plugin" tile was also not present, even though TvPlugin.dll for v1.35 x64 was previously installed and should have been noted as such.

I don't use separate client and server systems for MP, but I have this morning performed a true first-time install of the 64-bit MP 1.36 client on an empty 64-bit Windows 10 system. Here is the pre-install summary:

    pre-install_summary.jpg

The install completed without problem. (y) :)

But is it a working system? Well, the TV plugin DLL was installed, and I was able to connect successfully to my production server and display its EPG (y). However, my production server is MP 1.33 running on Windows 7, and when I tried to play live TV, a pop-up appeared saying that playback failed, and the log showed that MP did not like the different versions of TV Server (1.33) and the TV plugin (1.36). So I cannot verify that the installation actually works to play live TV.

The only 64-bit MP 1.36 TV Server installation that I have on Windows 10 is in another partition on the same machine as the MP client installation, and I cannot boot both of them at the same time. :(

I have attached the TV plugin DLL, but I don't know whether there are other files or settings that are needed.

I'm gradually migrating to win11 on my 3 MP machines (2 clients, 1 TV server); ... aka, replacing mobo, CPU, RAM, cloning my win10 system HDD to SSD, then updating OS. One done. Had MP 1.35 x64 client on 2 machines and 1.33 x86 TV Server on the third. Working fine. Tried updating 1.35 x64 (which was working great) to 1.36 x64 on the new win11 client. That's when I ran into the issue. After the failure, I reinstalled 1.35. It also didn't display the TVPlugin tile on the preinstall screen, but the1.35 client works as it should.

btw, the TVPlugin.dll provided, works! My Win11 MP 1.36 x64 client is working with my (currently) Win10 MP 1.33 x86 TV Server. ...After a new attempt at updating.

    THANKS!!

As far as I remember, there are restrictions on installing in a mixed configuration of x86 and x64, but @Pablik can tell you better, he knows more.
