V14 installed.

Worked correctly. Tested the following options on and off.

1) Delay startup
2) Use alternative fullscreen splashscreen
3) Start MP in fullscreen mode

Had the same issue with MP 1.5 Final after my my HTPC crashed due powerloss. The HTPC and Win7 ran very well after the power came back but MP run into this issue here. I updated to MP 1.6 final and the issue still exists...
I used V14 and every thing is now fine.
