HI,

Out of the blue I seem to be having a heap of troubles with MP including:
- directX crashes when loading MP (with Mustayaluca skin) when automatically lading MP when Windows starts, but if i close and then reopen MP the error doesn't occur again.
- in the last 24 hours i get n "UNABLE TO PLAY" error anytime i play videos or tv.

any help would be great - logs attached.

Cheers - Scott

    Hello Scott

Your Fanart Handler database is corrupted:

...and so on. Causes system to run out of memory:
    [2014-03-23 18:54:51,939] [Error ] [MPMain ] [ERROR] - render exception:confused:ystem.OutOfMemoryException: Exception of type 'System.OutOfMemoryException' was thrown.

[2014-03-23 18:56:26,628] [Error ] [MPMain ] [ERROR] - VideoPlayer: Unable to play with reason - Not enough storage is available to complete this operation.

    Solution:
    1. Try to recover the database:
    https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/threads/startup-time-for-mediaportal.122706/page-2#post-1040159
    2. OR if 1 fails, delete FanartHanlder.db3 from c:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\database (note: that does say ProgramData, not Program Files - it is a hidden folder, so copy paste into the address bar in Windows Explorer).

    mm
PS: you might want to consider upgrading to a newer version - better support.
