I have added a bluray drive to my setup.

Windows recognizes the drive an gives it a letter and I can access a dvd/cd normally from windows and whatnot.

But in MP no new optical drive (driveletter) appears.

Understand that I'm not talking about Bluray functionality in MP, but I should be able to use the drive as a dvd/cdrom drive.

Any suggestions ?

To quote myself: "Understand that I'm not talking about Bluray functionality in MP, but I should be able to use the drive as a dvd/cdrom drive."

Somebody had the idea to remove the Play DVD from the main menu. You can find it under My Videos - Play DVD. Had to search it myself for some hrs ;)

I think he is missing the drive in mp at all and not the PlayDVD Button.
Unfortunatly i have no idea how to fix this.
Did you try to add it as a source in mp configuration?

    Jack, you're completely right!

No did not add it as a source, but after I just rebooted the machine now, (the 4 or 5 reboot after the drive was installed) the problem have gone away.... What can I say ?

Robby, now that you mention it, I realize that "plat dvd" is no longer on the main menu. My remote have a "dvd menu" button that I use, so I don't use the main menu for that.

If you want the "Play DVD" to appear on the main menu, you can add it.
Go into the configuration tool -> Plugins and select it there
