Just reinstalled MP and having issues getting the Music DB to completely update
I get an issue every time with the above title - MP config just crashes.
I have tried deleting and recreating the DB a few times but it is perfectly repeatable.

    Anyone got any ideas?
(I'll post some logs when I get them!)

Thanks AJS and agreed - but the songs are in separate folders though.
It does this consistently and repeatably at pretty much the same point in the process.

How to crumble configurator? Maybe it shows a window with an error? What is written there?

    Hi

2d's worth [tell you how old I am:eek:

Had a moderately similar problem some while back with MovingPictures [as it's separate exe didn't crash config, just itself] - down to one corrupt file, as file was on NAS has to resort to netmon to debug problem - problem was mix of really really slow operation and config crash.

Another thought - you still on Win 7? - if it's Win10 I've seen some odd effects with MPTVSeries & MovingPicture locking MePo dead, this is when doing import & updates via RDP session as different user [this was 100% reliable on Win7], so I suspect it's permissions & DB's issue, nothing in MePo logs and I've not dug into Windows logs yet:)

    Cheers - JCMP

nothing in MePo logs and I've not dug into Windows logs yet
The log file can be seen that the configurator collapsed, and did not finish the update procedure. But I do not see the reason.

Still Windows 7 - I nuked the install and started a fresh.
It was all working up until then (I nuked everything!)
Is there anyway to increase the log level - that might help...

Sorry to say, but I have been running into exactly the same issue and nothing seems to get logged.
Between version 1.13 and 1.14 nothing was changed to the MP config, any of the MP3's in the music collection, or the path to them for that matter.
