I un- and then reinstalled MP1 & TV Server RC1.

I have the following annoying results:
1) In MP Configurator: Whenever I click on "Plugins" it takes some time (felt like 1 minute or more) until the windows on the right is displaying all Plugins.
2) When starting MP it is quite fast until "Loading window Plugins" - here it "hangs" - not really - but it takes more than one minute until this window is away. The CPU load itself is quite high at 50% all this time. Afterwards MP is starting and working as expected.
3) Everything including HDTV is working - EPG stays empty :(

Any guess why the hickups described before are occuring?

I uninstalled MP and TV Server again and reinstalled.

When TV Server was without any data (no scan or import of channels) MP Config and MP start was smooth. :)

As soon as I imported the channels from the last scan (around 3200 channels from Astra and Hotbird) MP was starting very slowly ("hanging" at the "Loading window plugins" for quite some time).

Has anyone an idea why this is happening?

I started the TV-Server Config and scanned for channels - 3045 channels found.

Afterwards I started MP Configuration - Clicking on Plugins -> waited for 80 seconds until the plugins were displayed.

When starting MP it hangs for 115 seconds at "loading window plugins" with CPU utilization around 50%. Then MP is running as planned..

Any guess?

Try turning off windows firewall. I have the same problem using the TV Server and multiple clients, all would hang at loading windows plugins until I disabled all firewalls on all clients and the server.

I posted a bug report. There might be an issue with TV-server. Zonealarm was already turned off for the home-network - and I can watch TV in MP - even HDTV!

Maybe close here in continue in bug report.

I'm seeing the same issue with loading mediaportal, RC1 was fine before I installed TV Server. Currently installing on another client to test the behaviour.

created a dump on crash, found the following. I'm going to grab the source tomorrow and see if I can track this down.
