Kinda off topic...but
I'm all for it for the next stable release (whenever that may be....) but does it even make sense for svn. I'm not against it, but isn't MPI an installer hence you'll always have to uninstall the old, then run through the installer. Kind of a hassle, no? With the dll all you have to do is change one file (and svn is for advanced users only anyways).
So, does it make sense?
