i'm all out of ideas...

i guess you can either post logs and hope a developer will look at it
or you can backup any of the database files / thumb directories u want to keep and uninstall completely + reinstall.

But actually that is a good idea, to uninstall completely and install again, I should have done it at the beginning, there is anything which should be kept, I would have to re-install all the plug ins. But when I install the skins again there will occur the same problem, I assume.
