DX9 exclusive mode guilty?

Here is my MP.log file. Is the DX9 exclusive mode to blame? In my former version of MP 0.2.1.0 it was possible to turn of DX9 exclusive mode. Anybody know where this feature is located now? I can't seem to find it.

I've same a problem when i use a video gard own codec (Ati). But when i use MPV Decoder Filter it works fine, if you don't care a picture scaling problem (4:3 projector)

you can still turn off DX exclusive mode, but it's been moved to the filters section.

Things are getting better. Now it is possible to hear the audio from each TV-channel and shift channels from the MP client over the lan. A stream is created, but there is no video??

I'm getting the same problem here.

I have the slient setup to WOL the server, and if i go into "My TV", the client hangs. Even if i restart the client, the problem persists...

The only fix is to either :
1 - Restart the server
2 - Manually restart TV Service.

This is so annoying...

All of a sudden the TV stream started woking. I guess re-starting both the TV-service and MP client solved the problem. Now the remaining problem is the stuttering stream. My 1,2 GHz CPU just can't keep up with the stream. Damn, I was so close to getting streaming TV in my bedroom.

Just tried your technique hassegubben, restart tvservice and restart client and it works so something is crazy no

I also have the same stuttering however my server is a newish am2 processor, and the client is a new core2duo so i figure its something else. The network usage is no where near peaking out the wireless (standard def tv) so the stuttering is coming form somewhere else...

For those using SQL Server 2005 Express Edition as the database on the TV server:

Just a reminder that if you are going to set up a multi-seat environment, as well as configuring the firewalls on server and client computers, you also need to configure SQL Server Express to allow remote connections - by default it only accepts local connections, i.e. from the computer it is running on.

To do this, go into Programs > Microsoft SQL Server 2005 > Configuration Tools > SQL Server Surface Area Configuration
Click on the option for "Surface Area configuration for Services and Connections"
Select the component called "Remote Connections" and change the setting to "Local and Remote connections" and "Using TCP/IP only".
Click OK - you will see a prompt to restart the service for this to take effect. (You can restart the through the SQL Server Configuration Manager, the Services administrative tool, or just restart the computer).
