I put in a clean install of 1.0 to run some tests....

I have been getting weird things in TV after playing music. a couple of them are 'wobbley' sounding audio with steady picture and then clear audio with no picture, so I thought I'd do the test to get logs.

I started watchdog, then MP. Went to TV first to make sure it was working, starting and stopping TV several times. Went to Music and started a track. stopped it after a bit and went back to TV. Started TV and everything seemed to be working correctly, stopped and went back to Music, then back again to TV. The last try, when I started
TV then MP locked up (just as it had for me a couple times before - I think I reported it in some other thread). Music played flawlessly, btw.

I wasn't able to repeat the other issues, though, this time out, but they occured more than once as well... MP 1.0 is unpredictable to say the least.

After a restart, I can watch TV will no problems ... till I go play music.

    regards,

    Chuck

    :sorry:

 I should have read it twice before posting... was not my intent. :sorry:

I'm using Schedules Direct... I'll check the EPG grabber, I don't think I messed with it on install.

I've been avoiding autostarting TV until I'm satisfied with the stability of my HTPC.

    Thanks,

    Chuck

    -------------

Well, it seems, for the moment, that disabling EPG grabbing did the trick. I'll keep an eye on it.

    Seems to be this issue:
    https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/get-support-90/serios-problem-epg-grabber-48265/

Note: You do not have to disable the EPG grabber completely. The problem only occurs with some channels and normaly with some that even do not have epg data. Found some more channels (this time on sat) that cause this problem:
eg. Fashion TV on Hotbird or RTPI.
If you look at the EPG log and disable EPG grabbing for the last channel in the log you can step by step sort out the ones that will cause the problem. And better first only select your most important channels for epg grabbing.

Thanks for the information, I really don't have a need for the EPG grabber in my case, as I'm using the Schedules Direct plugin for ATSC over the air broadcast, but someone else might find it useful.

    regards,

    Chuck

BTW... still no issues to report. :D
so after BIOS, video and audio driver updates things are so far running smoothly for me.
