MP: Minimize to tray on GUI exit does not work correctly if TV is on (1 Viewer)

Motherboard: Asus P5B Deluxe

1. TV Card Driver: 4.6b

If I enable "Minimize to tray on GUI exit", turn on TV and use the exit button (on remote) in fullscreen mode, the tv stays on and I cannot use remote to do anything (because MP has lost the focus). The control of the computer is quite hard because the TV-screen is visible on top of everything.

I have to try to guess where MP is in the system tray, use context menu, activate MP again, switch TV off and then the "Minimize to tray on GUI exit" works fine.

I think there is a bug: MP should first turn TV off and then minimize to tray.

This is a very, very old bug. Apparently the solution isn't easy, otherwise it would have been fixed in the last 1,5 years. There must besome old thread about it. I hope it is mantissed at least. Have to check that.
Iam so used to this bug that I always turn off tv automatically when I minimize MP (mostly to surf the net).

Maybe a function can be made with "auto turn off tv when minimize"

This is currently not in Roadmap for 1.0 but because of the importance of the bug, it would be really good to place it there. Adding an option as markus00 suggested seems possible to code in this short period of time.

Nope, as previously stated this would require a complete rewrite of our graphics engine, hence MP2, which will not have this inbuilt limitation.

If there was a easy fix it would have been done

Where is the need to rewrite the graphic engine for this option:
"If MP is minimized: turn off tv"???
