I'm not sure if this is a bug, but when I launch MP, I notice in the Task Manager that about 12 copies of IR.exe (the infrared remote software from Hauupage) get launched. They all get shutdown before MP finishes loading. IR.exe version is 2.63.26308.0

A seperate problem I've got is that I clicked on "Load online list" in the MPI installer and now it only shows my local plugins, irrespective of the filter setting!

I remember reading somewhere here, that once the remote is setup, you can remove the ir32.exe, might be worth a try.

That's being worked on, dukus has redone the installer, we just got to match it up to the website correctly, which is no easy task with limited web developers :(

It's true that MP itself doesn't need IR32, but at the moment I need to use it to start MP with the remote. Once I make this a dedicated HTPC, MP will be running all the time and I can use Watchdog to auto-restart it if it crashes so I probably won't need IR32 then, although I think if I want to use the remote with external programs I still will.
