Hi, I had the same problem with my HVR 1300. Finally, I found a solution.
-Start MP setup
-Change video codec for TV (DScaler works perfectly for me)
-Save and close setup
-Restart MP setup
-Enter in Autotune section and lauch autotune
- ... I hope it will work for you ;)

I think that some video codecs crashes TV and consequently AUTOTUNE.

I wouldnt call it a solution... I would call it a temporary workaround until the bug is fixed. =)

Thanks for the hint but it's still the same. After I have selected the country and pressed on "scan" it crashes completely. RC3 work perfectly without any SVN snapshots.

    Hi All

Do you manage to get MP to run, ie homescreen.
If so try using settings\setup wizard, skip all the bits you may have already done and go to the tv part and try tuning again.
The only reason i am saying this there have been a difference in the past between the two which caused my channels to be found using one but not the other, worth a try.

It's still impossible to run the configuartion wizard. That's why I cannot use RC4 or any of its svn versions.

The setup is always crashing on scanning for tv channels or if you skip this step during setup, the configuration.exe cannot be run anymore (Dr. Watson)

Admins! Please add this to mantis!!!! THANKS

I only saw this on RC4+SVN after 6-May. If I use 12-May SVN -- crashes during scan. [configure.exe] If I use 6-May SVN -- no problems.

    Bizarre !
