I get a error message:
Failed to locate assembly "ICSharpCode.SharpZipLib, Version=0.85.5.452, Culture=netral, PublicKeyToken=1b03e6acf1164f73'. Note that the configuration program must be executed from/reside in the MediaPortal folder, the execution will now end.

It was working fine until a few days ago, Now I just get the above all the time.

Using MP 1.1.3
Tv Series 2.9.3 Stable Release (Just updated, still getting the error)

So what did you do a few days ago? Install anything that possibly installed an incompatible version of ICSharp dll. We dont install this, but we compile against the version that is shipped with MediaPortal.

Possibly this was an issue before for you but you didnt see it becaue you didnt run up configuration. In GUI it would of failed to do imports but I think it would of failed silenty.

I installed Music Videos about a month ago (last time I was in config) then a few days ago I tried to add a new tv series when is when all this started happening.

    Hi!
    I've the same problem!
I've noticed that if I reinstall completely the plugin and enter the configuration trough the installer (flag on open configuration after setup) everything goes fine and the new series are identified and downloaded correctly.
As soon as I reopen the plugin from MP configuration I receive the same error again!!

    Any help??
    Thanks G.

    I have the same problem.

I have updated following plugins in last days:

    SubCentral
    Fanart Handler

Solution for me was to download ICSharpCode.SharpZipLib.dll from internet and copy it over the file in MediaPortal directory.

    Here is the link:

    http://sourceforge.net/projects/sha...pLib/0.85.5/SharpZipLib_0855_Bin.zip/download

ZIP contains versions for more .NET versions. I took the one for NET-11.

Now retrieve of data is OK.

It seems that SubCentral distributes the latest ICSharp dll in its installer for both the MP1.1.x and 1.2 Beta releases. Now, for TVSeries 3.0.x we compile against the latest one because thats what is installed with MediaPortal so you wont see a problem if using 1.2 Beta.

However for MP 1.1.x we compile against an older one, so once you install SubCentral it will stop working. We can go about fixing this by upgrading the ICSharp used in our Stable 2.9.x release or we can merge that dll into our own so both can work together. I think merging is the only way to go otherwise you just break other plugins that dont build against the same version.

Bumpity bump. Just wanted to say I came across this problem after upgrading to MP 1.2.1 and StreamedMP 1.7.5 (I've no idea if it caused the issue, or it was just coincidence).

I downloaded the new .net 2.0 version of the dll from here: Downloads @ic#code

It seems to have done the trick. Thanks.
