Yes, finally! I've been annoyed by the characters äöå showing up wrong in TvSeries for ages. Now I actually did something about it. I changed the encoding to UTF-8 and everything shows up correctly. I also changed one string that has been bugging me.

Please, make this the default encoding for at least Finnish. Thanks!

    Edit: Moving Pictures, too.

    Hey Guys,

If I could just ask you all to halt translations while I have time to move to transifex, will try to get a release out very soon so you can start translating online.

    Hey powermarcel,

Do you mind updating your post with details about Transifex, everyone can go there now and start contributing:

    https://www.transifex.com/projects/p/MP1_CommunityPlugins/resource/mp-tvseries/

I will release a new build very shortly that has support for latest format (not radically different). Try it out and add whatever you think will help users switch over ;)

Every Translator has to do the following:
    1. Register an account at Transifex.com
    2. Go to the project page, which you want to translate (see above)
    3. a) If your language team already exists, click on it and request to become a member of it.
In this case either the project management and the language team coordinator of that language can accept or deny the request.
      b) If your language team does not exist, you can request to create a new one and become a language team coordinator.
In this case the project management has to accept or deny the request.
The language teams are organized within https://www.transifex.com/projects/p/MediaPortal/
So currently it's Albert, morpheus, offbyone and Chefkoch who are able to accept new languages.
In most cases we react within 24 hours on request, often even earlier.

  • About The Project

The vision of the MediaPortal project is to create a free open source media centre application, which supports all advanced media centre functions, and is accessible to all Windows users.

In reaching this goal we are working every day to make sure our software is one of the best.

  • Support MediaPortal!

The team works very hard to make sure the community is running the best HTPC-software. We give away MediaPortal for free but hosting and software is not for us.

Care to support our work with a few bucks? We'd really appreciate it!
