Some details
- I discussed this briefly in IRC this afternoon.
- Aero is turned on
- Steps to reproduce:
1. Start mediaportal (default/minimum amount of config possible done) (it's in windowed mode on display 1)
2. Click My TV
3. Click TV On
4. I get a few video and audio until I hover the mouse over the video stream itself, then the screens both go black for 5-10 seconds.
5. Vista comes back with this bubble:
Display driver stopped responding and has recovered
Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered
Then I get MediaPortal.exe has stopped working. If I click Debug (I have VS2005) then I can see the exception:
Unhandled exception at 0x069f644c in MediaPortal.exe: 0xC0000005: Access violation reading location 0x109e8000.
But there are no debug symbols loaded so I can't go any further. I can get a disassembly though if it's any use.
If you need any more info I can get it for you - this is completely reproducable.
Diagnostics tool output attached.
