MP Wont play anything (1 Viewer)

ATI Radeon HD 3200 - On board, and its set to 512mb, driver version 8.522.0.0

It was set defult, i changed it to 512mb tested again and still nothing

I am using TixyXP, but surley if the video plays in windows that cant be the problem

According to hoborg (SAF thread already pointed to) that's the best version driver for XP, have you got all windows updates including directx, maybe try installing .net3.0\3.5 and trying video renderer as EVR, you need to go into MP config expert mode to see this, under the directshow filter control.

Maybe someone else with a ATI card can give you some advice, as I know there are a few tweaks around to get this working better with MP.

Also if using haali make sure autoload VS is disabled, see if that makes a difference.

Im currently re-installing windows, Ive installed and un-installed so many codecs, it might have fucked something up.

I will install everything again, including SP3. Then post back, gimme 1hr ish

Nothing fresh install done what it says in the other link, installed SAF video plays from network sourse in Windows bu not in Media Portal
