    Hi,

    Related to this Mantis : -->> MP1-4069 <<--
    Branch related -->> here <<--
    Link for Full Installer : link -->> here <<--

    It's time to update MP code to NET4.0, this is the installer based on 1.5.0 Final, we need feedback.

    2013.10.10 : First installer V1

    2013.10.10 : Installer V2 : Fix MPEI error related to Fonts dir.

    2013.10.12 : Installer V3 : Add NET4.0 checking on installer.

    2013.10.12 : Installer V4 : Fix warning compil issues.

    2013.10.13 : Installer V5 : Disable Remote Input (DirectX Input not compatible with NET4.)

    What need testing :
    • All and see if something failed
    What the installer will do :
    • Installer will install MP/TV based on NET4.0 instead of NET3.5

    Thanks :)

    hello,
    my question is the same as before : why .net 4 and not .net 4.5 ?
    auto reply :
    now, MP( frontend) is designed for work on Win Vista as the minimal requirement.
    but, .net 4.5 ask to have Visual studio 2012 and Win vista, for dev.
    .net 4 is support by XP yet. or inverse
    so, we can always use XP as Server OS

    and i hope few member-dev, switch soon on new OS :D

    How would we do that if we upgrade to .NET 4.5?
    we can't, it's what i have wrote ;)

    Don't get your hopes up for me. I'm more likely to switch to Linux than I am to upgrade Windows.
