Hi

Been using RC2 successfully for some time, decided to go for v.1 today.
Works well in the server/singleseat pc in the living room.

The master bedroom client was then upgraded, and it looked to work well - it does show the epg, knows about current recordings, etc.
But if I try to start watching a channel (be it scrambled or fta) nothing happens, and the mediaportal client goes unresponsive, it doesn't crash, and no error messages though (this is all on the bedroom client pc that connects to the tv-server in the main living room).

The server/singleseat doesn't react in any way though, and keeps running well.

If I look inside the tv server manual control the bedroom client looks to be using one tuner and timeshifting away...

Nevermind, it just decided to start working - for no apparent reason (which worries me), it works for now...touch wood. :)

    Welcome to the forum :)

But, PLEASE post some logs and system specs. Without them we really can't do more than guess.

    Marcus.

Guys, it started working...sql database is running on the same server as it did on the RC2 setup - so nothing was changed more than removing RC2, cleaning up the db, and installing v 1.0.
At first it didn't want to stream tv to the clients on the LAN, however it worked beautifully on the server/singleseat...and all of a sudden it just started to work, and has worked fine since (I'm running 1 hauppauge nova t500 in the singleseat/server).

I had hanging issues when channel surfing on one tuner, whilst recording with the other - this phenomenon hasn't occurred yet (and I've been trying to provoke it), great stuff!

I wasn't home, so had no access to the logs, and it started working, so no need to provide them. :)

    Thanks guys!
