disaster123, peque and others having the stuttering problem - can you try the attached older dll (v0055) please ?

I'd like to find out if the problem existed before my latest mods...

    Tony

(v0055 is the same source code as the current MP SVN trunk version, but with the MPAudioRenderer interface enabled).

    I'll do it...

Just some words to clarify... I've faced two different stuttering problems:

    - v58 related. No problem with v56 and older (I didn't try v57 too much to be able to say something). Was heavy and constant stuttering after some seconds/minutes of viewing, SD/HD livetv (not traduced in framedrops).
    - Sttutering here and there, every some minutes (not traduced in framedrops)... Any dshowhelper tried... surely driver related. Only HD... I can't see it in SD material.

    bye!

    same for me.

Is it perhaps relevant if we talk about 1080i, 720p, ... and which grahic card we're using - perhaps it is just that the new dshowhelpers need more GPU power and we're working at the limit? ;-)

I've this problem with a HD 3650 watching 1080i - but this is in general not 100% stable. Haven't tested my main htpc with hd5450 - WAF... you know...

OK, thanks for the clarification - if v0056 is OK then that's good.

The latest MPAudioRenderer download (v20) uses dshowhelper v0049. If v0056 is working OK then no, you don't need to try v0055.

How much RAM has your HD3650 got ?

yes v56 is working fine. Good question regarding the 3650 ... i will replace it in 2 days against a HD 5450 ;-) So this was just an idea that this happens on systems where GPU is at the limit.

So? Definetely, There's no interest in trying v55?

Till now... is v56 the best/safe option?

If v56 is working OK for you, then no need to try v55.

I thought people were having stuttering problems with v56, but it looks like it's the best version so far...
