Just tested v59 and GUI became slow motion after movie play (23,976FPS). MP became unusable.

v59 is v56 based, with that bug reported solved? I mean... changes in v57 and v58 are rolled back? If I remember well... v57 was meant to reduce A/V desync...

It's more like a modified version of v58 - I've changed the timing of when it modifies (and resets) the DWM parameters, and reverted some other stuff back to the v55 settings.

The problem with this DWM stuff is that it's not very well documented by MS, so it's development by 'try-it-and-see-what-happens' - which isn't the best way to do it.....

Thanks for the delay patch, David - I'll build it into the next version.

Sorry, I lost it during several restarts of MP, strangely, now I can't reproduce problem anymore. If I catch it later I will post logs.

New v0060 version attached - this has (hopefully) a fix for the 24Hz laggy MP problem, and davidf's delay compensation patch incorporated (note: davidf's patch only makes a difference if you are using the MPAudioRenderer).

Warning: If you are using MPAudioRenderer, you must use davidf's latest version, otherwise MP will crash.....it will also work OK if you are not using MPAudioRenderer.

just to note that v59 with davidf's patch works absolutely fantastic for me ;-) But don't have 24hz material - will try v60 with 24hz tonight.

I tested v60 for half an hour... I started MP and played an 24hz .m2ts movie... Smooth, no problem at all. Then I went to pal livetv (50 fps), no problem...

BTW, I didn't notice any problem with earlier versions, but I didn't tried 24hz material...

Ok take this report with precaution as I'm using MP with current SVN (27317). After replacing V59 with V60 on first run with 24FPS material I got same behavior (slow down GUI), examine it more closely GUI refresh dropped to 25FPS (instead of 50) after exiting video play (I gather logs if you will find something useful there).

With exiting and restarting MP I can't reproduce that anymore and everything works ok including GUI.

Eeemm... What's that new value "late" inside stats? I don't remember to have seen it in earlier versions...
