Possibly. How are your folder/files named? I'll see if I can reproduce it.

I am not at home but if I remember correctly thw folder is called

Der Tatortreiniger

and episodes are all stored in the corresponding folder with files named like

Der Tatortreiniger - 1x02 - "episode name".ts

where 1x02 stands for season 1 episode 2

Ref "The Brink":

The series folder is actually named "The Brink" but episodes had the additional "Die Welt am Abgrund". I removed this from the episode file names and now the complete series is correctly recognized.

I've found and fixed the Tatortreiniger problem, the TVDB was ignoring the language setting when downloading fanart.
