@gibman do you need a modified binary of the UPnP lib for testing or do you still compile on your own?

I have added the propoesed changes and built a UPnP library update.

Bind errors will be logged now as WARNING and will include the exception. Hopefully we can find out what is causing your issues.

I haven't compiled MP related stuff for a while.
I guess I need the VS2017 (2) IDE for compiling MP2 related source code ?

    It seems rebooting did help.
Although it still nags me what the original issue was.
I will still try and look out for the culprit.

    Anyways.
    MP2 looks amazing.
    Holy crap it loads fast.
    Kudos from here !!

It's almost time to retire MP1 from the livingroom.

In such case there would be a few things that I would miss.
subtitles downloader, I guess we need a plugin for this.
For now I can probably install a 3rd party tool that from time to time scans my media for new subtitles.
I didn't find any options for configuring subtitles language options.

Sometimes I have a few subtitles (.srt etc) in either english or danish.
I'd like it to prioritize danish, then english.

The OSD skin for movies are a bit lacking in terms of showing video and audio specs and probably a few other things.

I do miss the moving pictures plugin also. maybe it's just a habbit ?
The way it had those different views instantly available - I liked that.
    Like "recent movies" etc.
I know this can be achieved in the movies section of mp2 also using filtering and sorting.. but it requires a few more clicks.

I haven't spent enough time yet to fully realize MP2 pro/cons.
