MP2 - Spring'16 MP2 Server won't start (1 Viewer)

hello, i try to setup MP2 Server on my TV server, but on service start, it won't.

i don't know why, it worked before, but not tested since long time, maybe Windows update issue ...

@morpheus_xx : any help before going in vacation ?

Hi.
You have both TV Engines (TVE 3.0 and TVE 3.5) included in your installation Build. This did not work. You have to choose one for installation when building the installer package...

Then you had TVE 3.5 installed from a previous build. The new build from Morpheus only contains TVE 3.0
Simply delete the whole folder "c:\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal\MP2-Server\Plugins\SlimTv.Service35\" and the MP2 server should start.

Only would recomment to uninstall and reinstall. For a new build I have no more time

I will retake your last build. But it seems an other issue on windows. I will delete the programdata folder. In case of

Ok, guy's so, the setup was my own ...
with the morpheus setup; no more problem, i have also deleted my programdata folder, and now it work.

So, solved for me

I used the build from morpheus_xx and have the same problem. Installation can not be completed, because setup stucks when trying to start the server service.
Failure message says, that the service can not be started.

• I tried to repair the installation - same problem
• I tried to completely uninstall MP2 at first - same problem
• I tried to give full rights to the installation folder - same problem

No way to install the build, I have this first time.

Arz you sure its morpheus build?

Do you have remove the programdata? Maybe the mia rework issue with old database
