I tried this in PureVisionHD folder (hope it was made for it) and the width seems to fit but the height needs to be lot larger.

I hope you have not that much effort on customizing arround on this...

As much as I can see it comes from the Plugin PowerScheduler.
    Code:
2011-01-31 05:34:45.851400 [ERROR][MPMain(1)]: Exception :System.NullReferenceException: Objektreferencen er ikke indstillet til en forekomst af et objekt.
       ved MediaPortal.Plugins.Process.PowerScheduler.WndProc(Message& msg)
       ved MediaPortal.Plugins.Process.PowerSchedulerClientPlugin.WndProc(Message& msg)
       ved MediaPortal.GUI.Library.PluginManager.WndProc(Message& msg)
       ved MediaPortalApp.WndProc(Message& msg)

Later there are coming MPD2 failures to, but I think this could be because of the PS issue you have.
It's just a hint, but have you tried to run MP without PowerScheduler? Maybe these two Plugins won't run together at the time.

Disabling powerscheduler client plugin does seem to make this plugin more stable, but I still get crashes. Especially I note that right after going to know playing when radio is playing, the plugin seems to crash, however without bring the main mp down. Same goes for now playing when tv is on, where part of the info seems to get updated, but the process bar stops updating along with the clock...

Still some way to go, but I am not sure what I can do to help clarify any bugs?

May Be the next version becomes more stable for some users. I get some crashes when using PureVisionHD or X-Factor too. May be it's the load of much and big gfx- files - I don't know. With 0.6.0 I get less those problems, but my opinion is, that this is a performance thing (Blue and BlueDark are now best).
While in Alpha there will be only basic gui functionality. Other things like feature requests and higher performance are coming later.

I don't know why this happens. I set the Graphics to 800x480 pixel. I'll try one more with 800x600. May this one fits better on screen. I'll try tommorow.

    Cheers,
    Wonder

Re: MPDisplay2 - MP Secondary Display

    Hello,
First of all: great stuff, I've been looking a long time for a plugin like this :)

I have one problem (not caused by the plugin, but by windows I think).

I've been looking for a way to disable auto-detection of displays connected through HDMI in Win7 but did not find any.
My HTPC is connected to a 7" touchscreen and a TV (last one connected through HDMI). Everytime I shut the TV down, the PC rearranges everything on the desktop, programs stop running --> I want to avoid this and let the pc believe that both displays run all the time.
    Anyone any ideas?

    Greetings,

    Sam

    Hi,

If your using a ATI card you can disable a windows service called "AMD External Event Utility" this will stop this from happining

Disabling "AMD external event utility" works in vista but not in Win7

Searched a lot, found this site on social technet from microsoft (probably only viewable if you have a Live-ID): Disable 'Monitor Off' detection, how? --> there is no software solution.

I think the solution posted by Kernel.32 is the best at the moment: to use a HDMI extender.

AW: MPDisplay2 - MP Secondary Display

    Hi !

first of all, a big Thanks for this great Plugin!

I have a feature request for the future release:

While watching TV with MediaPortal running on the secondary display sometimes i want to "minimize" the mpdisplay2 screen on my touchscreen and work with the computer. After finishing working, i want to maximize the mpdisplay2 screen again to its original size.

Do you think, its possible to minimize a running mpdisplay2 to an icon and maximize it again when touching the icon ?

so i can switch the mpdisplay2 off/on without having MP closed, disabeling your plugin and turning on the TV again.

    Thanks in advance!
    Best Regards
    Sebastian

    Hey Katharsis,

try it with this backround picture. I forgott to change the size of this one before, so it could be that this caused the wrong output.

Oh jeah you're right. I changed the backround graphics in upcoming version to jpg to save space.
Just put it into the same folder as the WindowBG.png (in images folder)

    Sorry for that. :)
