OK, this is definitely a MPD2 Problem. That what I don't understand is... You are watching a TV Recording and you get an Error with the Equalizer? Thats to high for me. Could you please attach the log files? May be sa_ddam knows how this happens.

Hallo, i can not find the Software iPad Driver Link.
I only find the Software iPad Display Link Software.
But the Display Llink Software do not work with the mpdisplay2 Plugin (See First Post)

So you have more than just a problem with this plugin i would say...

Try to disable PowerScheduler too and try again. You are the second who has a problem with this plugin (Powerscheduler and MPD2 - mentioned this allready in the German Forum in first Post).

Try to disable PowerScheduler too and try again. You are the second who has a problem with this plugin (Powerscheduler and MPD2 - mentioned this allready in the German Forum in first Post).

Just tried with PowerScheduler disabled - happened again. I will try with disabling all plugins step by step the next days...

will the plugin cease now or will it be still being worked on for the current MP?

MPDisplay2 will work with all Versions of MP until 1.2.0 Alpha.
We will get this one to Final Version, but it will never be available for MP 1.2.0 Beta and later Versions.

I used the weekend to check on the display link sw and using it with MPDisplay2. Well, for one part, it works. For the other, there are some issues, some of which the plugin will not be able to cure.

1. The Display Link currently is only that, a display link. So toching your iPad does not do anything. The website of display link states in their FAQ that they are willing to add such a functionality, but we will have to wait and see. Until then, it is looking only.
2. The iPad will continually be On when running the iPad SW, no way to save battery. So you will drain your iPad very quickly.
3. When you turn off your iPad (or switch to another app) the connection will be severed and your display settings (on your htpc) will change. So no more 2nd screen and MPDisplay 1 will be moved to the first screen (in my case behind MP, so thats good). When you re-establish the connection, MPDisplay2 will not re-appear. This is the only one MPDisplay2 can fix, it needs to listen to display setting changes and move its window accordingly.

So great idea, but due to the dependency on display link, probably not feasable.

i got a PM from him a few hours before the earth quake. responded, but haven't got back any reply.

Nope. I wrote him yesterday an e-mail too, but no respond till now.
Let us hope that everything is all right with him and his family!
