Same problem for me on Win7 32b MP1.2.3 ;-) Solution from crazyboy works well in my case.

No problem when installing previous version on my virtual machine (WinXP 32b MP1.3.0b) 2 weeks ago.

I stopped all mpextended service and deleted logs folder. It works now.

I had same problem. Found a solution on the forum. Uninstalled Mpextended and webmediaportal and then installed webmediaportal first and then mpextended then no security bug .
