I would wait on a MP remote that supports android, then buy a 7" cheap android tabet (~$100USD) then you have a wireless touch screen remote.

a nice extension is the integration of speedfan for the hardware monitoring...

PS: When playng music I can't see the equalizer --> I use mediaportal interlal dshow player.

I still have this problem. Using bass engine player, equalizer works. (I have to use dshow player to play dts audio files)

Files attached. BTW, I think you can easily reproduce the problem putting "Internal dshow player" instead of "Bass engine", here:

As I say here, exept if you write a filter and insert it into graph to retrieve sounds datas, only bass player have API to retrieves theses datas so can display equalizer. It's normal. The original plugin work with the bass player only also.

Working on a direct sound wrapper now for the EQ , so it will work on live radio ,ASIO, external players and webstreams

I was just trying this last night with Ultravnc, the CPU usage was far too high to be useable, also windows 7 reverts to basic mode to draw the displays, combined we have:

1) Low framerates for video playback (cannot use DXVA for h264 decoding due to ATI driver issue)
2) Loss of Vsync for videoplayback resulting in lines through the screen.

It's great to test on, you could always just kill the VNC connection when not in use, which would resolve both issues. I should invest in one of these touch screen PC cases
