After doing some research this might be a .Net framework error due to a corrupt system file.
Get the cleanup tool here: .NET Framework Cleanup Tool User's Guide - Aaron Stebner's WebLog - Site Home - MSDN Blogs
Remove .Net 2.0 and reinstall it from here: Download details: Microsoft .NET Framework Version 2.0 Redistributable Package (x86)
or for 64bit: Download details: Microsoft .NET Framework Version 2.0 Redistributable Package (IA64)

    WARNING!!
BE CAREFUL - I had issues on a server with .Net and ended up removing and reinstalling ALL versions! Not fun...

    Thanks for your posts folks.

Have just tried a .net cleanup & re-install - behaviour hasn't changed, still crashing.

I can't reproduce the crash by entering & exiting tv-series - logs attached in case they are any use.

I have also tried to reproduce in wide banners view in blue3wide & amped, but it is only happening in blue3.

    Hi SpudR,

I had verified all products using the tool before reporting this as a bug, to try and eliminate .net as the source of the crash.

After reinstalling 2.0 it verified, crash was still present.

    Have now installed 3.5 sp1, and 2.0 sp2, 3.0 sp2 & 3.5 sp1 verify. Crash still present.

Any other ways to tell if there is an issue with my install?

Nope - If the .Net stuff verifies that's as far as you can go...
It seems odd that this error isn't being widely reported - if it was a general error in the MP program I'd expect it to be all over the place!

Might be time to remove MP (use the backup settings plugin to backup and restore the settings) ~ I'd use the free version of Revo Uninstaller
    Do a SFC /Scannow check
Make sure all windows updates are applied
Run CCleaner and Defraggler (google them)
Do a 'Quick Scan' using malwarebytes
Personnaly I'd do a ComboFix run through as well (BE CAREFUL WITH THIS AND ONLY GET IT FROM THE BLEEPING COMPUTER WEBSITE)
Once this is done reinstall MP

Google the stuff if you get stuck and report back...

OK, thanks for suggestions, all done, nothing untoward found. Reinstalled & just added tvseries, crash still happening.

If you can't reproduce & no-one else seems to have this, is there any more we can do?

I may end up trying to hack the blue3wide skinfiles as they don't seem to trigger whatever is causing this.

Did you end up finding out how to fix this? I've got the same issue with mscorwks.dll crashing, except mine does it randomly. Could be TV-series, but also does it at the home screen

No fix as such. I am now using 1.2beta & a widescreen. With defaultwide skin the problem isn't there for me, but it wasn't with blue3wide either.

Not getting the problem now, but it was moving to a widescreen that 'fixed' it for me whilst still using XP. See my earlier post - was only being triggered when using blue3 for me.
