p.s. Unless you are using an SVN version from about today(fixed 10/04/2006)
and you manually edit one of the ATSC channels you will hit the bug I
mentioned earlier.
It will reverse the major and minor channels after you edit it.
If you do just re-edit without changing anything and it will reverse back.

I use SVN ... what is the trunk URL, I'll get the latest and start from there.

Stepping away from channel and card setup - do you have any idea why when playing a DVD I get a tiny little display in the middle of the screen and no sound? The MP UI produces sound but nothing from the DVD. I am using PureVideo on an Nvidea 6600 board.

thanx

You can download SVN daily builds (with installer) from
the MP site http://svn.team-mediaportal.com/

If you want to compile yourself I think the trunk is
https://svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/mediaportal/trunk/mediaportal

Also, if you are going to use the SVN you need to download
the 1.6 version of the zap2it plugin (from the thread link posted eariler).
The way some logging is done changed and the 1.5 will not work
with recent SVN.

Not sure on the DVD off hand.
What resolution are you running?
Full screen?

Have you tried setting different Video and Audio codecs in configuration.exe for DVD.
Or have you tried adjusting some of the settings in the configuration.exe
for DVD such as pixel correction or aspect ratio

I am @ Work so I cannot look what mine is set to.

HTH,
patrick

I will take a look when I get home but am pretty certain the values set are same as what I used in MCE with regards to aspect and resolution.
I did not try any other Codec since I am a huge fan of PureVideo and wouldn't want to go with anything else.

thanx
