Sometimes feature requests do not get answered, unless a lot of people have the same idea, and would like it implemented.
Remember there are a lot of formats out there and MP cannot cover them all.
FFDshow which is also sourceforge based project, does a pretty good job of trying.
And what the hell has being Italian got to do with it.
