Multiseat dvb radio broken (again) (1 Viewer)

svn 16362 - working (fastest tuning yet - 10sec)
svn 16481 - reported broken by rts
svn 16534 - still broken - no audio, interface lock

Current behaviour is the worst it has been for over a year. When you choose a station the interface locks. As usual the server side is streaming ok.

It was working with svn 16362, I have not had time to work through all svn up from 16362 - 16481 to see what broke it, but from a quick check it might be related to the changes gibman made in 16430.

Although I am not using dvb radio myself.
You could try and use a pre-16430 build of streamingserver.dll on the tvserver.

the same goes for tsreader on client (although u might get an interface error).

Currently I can't think of a reason why this could have broken it.
But u never know..

I have noticed "interface locked" for radio with or without server under Windows 2000, but not when running XP in latest SVN.

Did get problem tonight on singleseat and webradio with WinXP ("interface locked").

Seems that it has nothing to do with server in my case!
If I change music player to "default player" instead of BASS player it works with or without server!?
This is tested on a win2000 system single seat, will test winxp tonight and see if its the same.

edit: "default player" = dshow player

If I change BASS player to dshow, it works just fine on any PC or sytem. No more gui that freezes!

For me the Bass player settings have no effect on this.

When i select a DVB-S radio station on a network client (XP or Vista) the interface locks. The server side is streaming ok.
This problem is since a very long time.
