You will probably get better advice on the IRSS thread

Ok, I just updated to the newest MP release, and I can't seem to get this to work anymore. Right now I'm using the DefaultWide skin.

I've followed the standard instructions that have been repeated a 100 times in this thread. I'm using the .dll from the laster post and then using the DLLFix.exe. I've placed and language files, etc.

    Thoughts?

I did a complete re-install of Win7 due to some other problems and all is well for me now. But are all your Multishortcut plugins enabled including the original Multishortcut00 (sp?)?

    Hello all,

I'm having an issue with Multishortcut. You'll have to forgive as I'm new to MP and not the most computer savvy. I'm running version 1.2.3 on Vista 64 and have attempted the steps for MS several times with several versions. After I place the folders in the necessary locations, copy and rename the .dll file, and then run dllfix.exe, I'm am seeing the DOS window with the same info as the .doc file says and it appears to have worked properly. But upon opening MP Config and clicking on Plugins, this new plugin is not there. I've tried several times and have also looked for the Multishortcut.xml file and it is not there either. Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks
    MT

I have found the solution to my question above. If anyone else is having difficulty getting MS to work using Robbo100's guide @ http://www.avforums.com/forums/home-entertainment-pcs/1602323-mediaportal-setup-guide.html (which I might say is an excellent source to get started on MP, Thanks Robbo100), I would suggest that you have a look at erichzann's post @ https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/threads/multishortcut-netflix.109764/#post-886356. There is a discrepancy between where to copy the *.dll and fixdll.exe files. In Robbo100's guide, it is said to be placed in C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Plugins\Windows, whereas erichzann's post says to copy to C:\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\plugins\Windows. After repeated attempts to try MS in the first location, I finally came across the second post. It worked perfectly...thanks to both of you for your advice.

C:\program files(x86)\... is when you have win 7 64bit installed, otherwise it is c:\program files\...

Also, Vista 64bit...which is what I'm running. Just thought I'd put that info out for others if they were having the same issue.

    Hi.
On my MP1.3 Installation the V2.4 is working normally.
Maybe the 2.4 is for 1.3 only, but I don't know that. You can try V 2.3 for 1.2 from this posting:
    https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/threads/multishortcut-plugin.75305/page-12#post-738562
This one works with MP 1.2 and 1.3 as I had it running on both, 1.2 and 1.3 myself. I don't want to go through the complete process of rernaming, patching, configuring,... again so I simply copy "my" Plugins from setup to setup and it works as expected.

The rest of the Plugin files (xml, dllfix,...) is needed from version in first post.
