Not working on my setup, too.

What does not work in your setup? The skip steps, which was mentioned in the post above, or gapless playback?

BTW: Is it important to have "BASS Engine" as Player for this quick fix? Because I'm more interested in WASAPI/ASIO. But that's also not working.

Nope. Everything is Bass Player.
"BASS Engine" - BASS using Directshow
Wasapi - BASS using Wasapi
Asio - BASS using Asio

Maybe you will spend some time and fix DirectSound in PureAudio instead (for those who need this)?

i am not touching a 3rd party plugin., The standard player is what i am supporting

You need to enable Skip Steps in the general section and then tick in the music section, that you want to use skip steps.
plaese post your mediaportal.xml and a log with the Debug option set.
Use f6 or remote buton to FF and f5 to frew

Gapless playback not working. Logs attached.

Played Oasis - (whats the story) morning glory (Album), should be gapless between tracks 11 and 12, but I hear a audible noise.

I think i found the problem. I am disposing the previous stream a bit too early.
Needs some rewrite. Hope to have something in a few hours or tomorrow.

From the logs i see that BASS is skipping for +15 secs, when you press the skip.
And you really don't hear the file advancing?

Yeah, I saw that in the logs as well. However, nothing happens! Music just keeps on playing without skipping. Anything else I can try?

It looks like something is stealing the command, so that it doesn't end up in g_player. normally i should also see in the log, that g_player is executing the command. but that i am missing.

i think i got it now. at least here it works perfect. no tick at all.
i don't need to have this few ms crossfading any more.
