No, it is not a Bug.

In 1.4 i am using a Mixer, which was only used for Upmixing in 1.3.
and whatever is in the buffer of the mixer needs to be played.
The only way to shorten that is lower the buffer value.

So the instant skipping I have in 1.3 will never be available again in 1.4 because of that mixer? There is no way around that?

you can decrease the buffer as much as possible, so that you don't have any stutter.
i can go down to 0,26 seconds.
And i think that's instant then. I doubt that you can notice a delay of 260ms. :)

Or you switch to WASAAPI exclusive mode.
If you are running Windows 7 you should be able to select WASAPI from the list of the player.

    Haha. I'm a bit picky. I want 0 seconds delay like in 1.3! :)

But like I said. Wasapi doesn't work. I can't select it. And why should there be a delay anyway?

I don't want to be trouble, but I just can't understand why a buffer would increase the skipping. No other player I ever used in my life has a skipping delay.

I'm sorry, I can select wasapi mode. testing now.[DOUBLEPOST=1369214130][/DOUBLEPOST]Ok WASAPI works. Thanks!

Sorry to be such a pain in the ass :ROFLMAO:, but it got me a bit confused, because I always used bass player with default settings.

Why is WASAPI not the default setting?

I also tried the WASAPI mode (exclusive and not exclusive) on my HTPC. But after a few seconds, the sound gets distorted and it doing fast forward al of a sudden. Very strange. Will test some more.

Is it not possible to flush the buffer on track changes?
