[Music] Music "sort by" AlbumArtist (1 Viewer)

Hi,

Please, please please could you add the option to sort by album artist in album listing. This will allow MP to have all albums by various artists sorted together. See attached screen grab for where it needs adding.

Also add a secondary sort on album name so that ....disc 1 and ....disc 2 are always in correct sort order.

Yes the sorting method described in the post is not handled at all (album artist). Also, secondary sort by album name (once view is sorted by albumartist.

Imagine you want all various artist albums together, then disc1 needs to be before disc2.

This is with album view style but its the same in any viewing style (eg list etc)

At the risk of sounding like a broken record. Would this option which is available for video database help with the issue highlighted in this thread for music viewing (secondary sort)?

Can anyone tell me if MP2 handles music sorting properly? Unlike MP1 which I'm losing faith rapidly in despite being a user for many MANY years

I'm trying MP2, still can't find sorting by ALBUM ARTIST, which is the ONLY thing I need for music management.

Will try to do some research and give update if I find something
