Well - if it does not happen in MP1, ideas for MP2 are always welcome 
Hi guys, just wondering if this plugin is still in development? I had an idea the other day, and asked about it in the main Mediaportal Music forum, and the suggestion was that a plugin would be required.
My suggestion is an enhancement to music playlists. I'd like an option to "resume" a playlist when selected, ie, carry on from the track you were last on. I thought this enhancement really fitted with the ideas in MusicEvolution. Hope you agree?

I'm sorry, but both people that where supposed to work on the code has vanished it seems. If someone else is interested in working on it, there's a Google code page up with lots of ideas. http://code.google.com/p/musicevolution/wiki/Project_description

Yes. If I myself knew anything about coding, the plugin would be out by now. All coders (tringler, ca|ne) involved just disappeared.
