Classic is plain by nature...you can choose to start with BasicHome in MediaPortal configuration.
We could also add option in installer to set this with it enabled by default.

And it's great exactly like it is. Please never change this. I LOVE the classic look and feel especially when TV is running in the background of the gui even though I don't understand why you switched the default value of the transpancery to off.

When I installed the new version I was shocked in the first moment because I thought you took it out of the skin until I found the checkbox to switch it on again.

I love simplicity together with the transparency thing. It's great. For me it's the most beautiful skin at them moment.

Had a first try yesterday and just love this skin. Thank you guys.

One thing i really like is the option to see the main menu while videoplayback. Unfortunatly when navigating
thru the menu i can see the fanart briefly flashing. Is there a way to eleminate that?


And i might have foung a bug.

Open Moving Pictures, select a movie to get the detailed movie information. Pressing right it will highlight Trailer. Doing so i cant
get back to choose playback. Keypress is ignored somehow.


Anyway, both thumbs up.

question: how can i add a button to play a DVD disk under the movies section?

i have searched in the menu editor under the submenus but i can't find a play dvd button.

Hi.

I miss one feature of MyFilms in the MyFilms Movie Detail view.
In other skins it is possible to press a key (I think it's the RIGHT button) to hide all buttons and infos so that only the fanart is visible.

Is it possible to add this feature to your skin?

I have the same issue.
kjarrig has the answer. You can only navigate to Trakt and subtitles from the trailer button and if those are not installed you're stuck in limbo
Hopefully a skin designer can make a work around

Compared to for example StreamedMP there are a lot of "links" missing. Tried to add "youTube" to basic home.
Guess its possible to add those manually if i´d know the ID?

You can add everything MP offers to basichome by selecting "Display XML Filenames" bottom left in Mustayaluca Basichome Editor.

I disabled Trakt, I can still use the arrow buttons on my keyboard, if I use the left arrow, it toggles between play, details and trailers. But if I use the right arrow, it stops on the trailer but I can use the left arrow and go to the details, I never get stuck.
