Request: More Power to Missing Anime Report

I have a request for the missing Anime Report ...

Currenty I'm fighting with finding se eries I have lost episodes. Most of the time it happens when reorganising the Filestructure and a file dropps during moveing them. Anyway - It would be cool to have soem additional info in teh missing episode report -maybe more like a complete File report:

    Serie - Epsode - Filename

So you have a chance to find epsiodes which do not belong to the serie but loctted inteh same fodler, see if you have an series attached to a serie obvioulsy not belonging to it (could happen when manually matching - or - Hash is failing.

    Is this possible?

    Regards

Craig has been having a lot of problems with his computer lately which is delaying the release.
Is there anything particular you are looking for?
I haven't done the Missing Anime Report that you asked for yet.

There is quite a major database bug fix in there though, and some MAL support.

    Changelog 2.5

If Craig is not able to do it soon, I'll look at doing it

Well - waiting for the sorting functionality - if I understood it correctly it is now able to do it for you (related series) and some of the view sortings make lot of sense to me. Also I have teh isseu with the empty entries in the list - but doesn't bother me much (you know - like

Episode 1 - Title bla bla bla
    Episode 1
Episode 2 - Title bla bla bla
    Episode 2

    and so on.

well - the browsing of series with lot of Eps - Naruto and Bleach is all I say ...

Ah - yes - I have seen you didn't find a chance to look afer th report ;)

Plus - new is always better ;) - so waiting patiently for the new release ...

    A (possible) idea ...

Don't know if this is possible - but - is there a way to make the watched status userbased? Situation as follows:

I'm watching series and my children too - as they are not living with me I often see the series much earlier than they - so they loose the overview as the episodes are set to watched already when thy are here . So the idea is to build teh base for a user which is switchible - possible also in the view visible who has seen what like

    Epsiode ..... User1 ..... User2 ..... User3 .... User4
    1 + + - +
    2 + - + +
    3 + - - -

    Regards

    Re: New MP Backdrop

Isit possible to have future backdrops also for the StreamedMP Themes format (see https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/streamedmp-301/backgroundimages-3d-90749/#post690643 )?

I'm not quite sure I understand this properly.
Is it just 3D backgrounds from the main menu?
Are you asking for a 3D background for MyAnime?

I have thought about it a bit now, and can't see a way of doing it gracefully while still maintaining sync status with AniDB.
It's possible we could create local users which are treated separately from AniDB users, and maintain watched status there.
But you would lose all that information if you were to create a new database etc.

Hm - why syncing with ANIDB? I don't know about the structure in the database you are using - but adding a field which is set for watched - unwatched - without syncing or anything else. Just an informational field you may set. So - basically like a View wher you select the user (Main [anidbsync] - User1 - User2 - user3) and the corresponding watched - unwatched status. Where only the main one is synced with ANiDB.
