Hello lwerndly!

I was thinking, maybe this thread should be moved to the 'Maintained Plugins' section of the forum. Also, I wouldn't mind helping to figure out what it would take for the plugin to be listed on the website. (when i can find the damn time hehe)

Despite how hard this thread is to find, people still find it.

To get into the Maintained section you need 5,000 downloads as well as meeting some other criteria (which I can't remember at the moment).
MyAnime is still very much a niche plugin and so we don't get close enough to that figure.

I haven't updated the downloads on the MP site for a while, but with MA3 I will be looking to properly support it, as well as using the XPI functionality.

2-3 months is a pretty good guess.
I am aiming to have an alpha version ready for testers by the end of the year hopefully.

Having said that I am already using a pre-pre-alpha of MA3 on my main HTPC to prove that it works.
Although it only does the basics of navigating through your collection, playing episodes, and displaying all the fanart/poster/episode images.

Doing all the other windows like the calendar, relations etc take up the bulk of the time.

Craig has been doing some upgrades to the website, so that might be the cause of issues.

i have the rig and the usage to find any bugs when the time comes

i was guessing he was up to something i just try to check in and see how things are going from time to time.
i'm working on a C# IRC bot that will let you post twitter updates from the IRC channel:)

Yup testers are probably more needed than coders anyway. Thanks for your help as always.

Upgraded last night, and again I just can't seem to get this plugin to work properly.

First of all, in the basic home configurator, which myanime2 do I pick? There are like 10 and all of them seem to do more or less the same but not quite what I want. Basically what I want is to be able to pick my own background for streamedmp when I go to the anime menu. Then when I enter, I want the fanart backgrounds depending on which series I select. Just like movingpictures and tvseries do that.

However I just can't get it to work. I have no clue at all how to configure this thing as there is zero usefull documentation available. I selected it to automatically use series info when available, download fanart etc. All the boxes are checked under online db. However, no fanart backgrops. It does have that 3d tv thing though. But that file is impossible to find...

Anybody knows what I'm doing wrong?

ps I really think there should be some half decent documentation available. Its nonsense that I have to go figure out on myself which out of 10 myanime2 plugins I have to pick. All the problems I have could probably be explained in less than 10 sentences and I'm sure it would help out a great deal of people cause I cant believe I'm the only one confused. Now I've been wasting another 3 hours trying to figure out something that frankly should be done in under 5 minutes. It's very frustrating.

    Gentleman ...

Is there a chance that the StreamdMP Skin has a little bug - since a while I'm missing the umknown epsiodesin teh utilities view. Only the series name are visible but that menue stretches from left to right completely (clear what I mean?)

    Regards

    Markus

Ah - yes - the complaining guy with the setup problem - in StreamdMP in the XML view there is one item called MyAnime2 Main - I would use this one. Plus check that you are able to log in with your account to anidb.net - I assume you have an account ...?

the unknown episodes list is there its just on another "tab" labeled 'unlinked files' to select it you have to hit left in the utilities screen and then right to select it.

Thats not a problem. Its a local adres so thats why its set as 0.0.0.0. I get the same. Are you sure your login information is correct?

I already tried that one and yes I have a (working) account.
