Why does this scrape every time mp starts even without any file changes?

Why do you say it is scraping files when MP starts? Are you seeing files being hashed?

Hm, it seems that when the Fanart plugin is enabled, it will scrape when MP starts, and MyAnime2 doesn't display anything until it finishes scraping. Any ideas?

    No they shouldn't be related.

The only thing I can think of is that the Fanart plugin might be quite disk/cpu intensive. MyAnime is also quite disk intensive when it initially loads, as it caches all your groups (depending on how large your collection is)

looks like this is the issue. It's fighting with the fanart plugin for io.

Deleted the group, now it didn't show altogether :) Just went back to an old db and ran the import from there. Worked like a charm.

Two questions: I've just added a few dozen episode images to thetvdb.com but it there a way to force a local sync? And could you make an option for season 0. Season 0 is what thetvdb.com uses to define it's info on specials (and thus the episode images for them).

Please forget my remark about the date format being incorrect, it's fine now? Maybe it was old data stored locally?

This may be resolved once yhoogi's suggestion is implemented. But i'll download the fanart plugin, and have a look as well.

To force a local sync, you can go into the Utilities screen and do a Run Import. This will do the usual stuff, but and ask TvDB for what has been updated since your last update. No option to do it on a per series basis yet.
I have raised Issue #191 for the Season 0 bit.

As far as I know, going to the episode view, pressing F9 (or the remote equivalent), choosing "the TV DB >>" and using the option "Get Episode Images/Info" should update the images and info for the currently open serie as well.

The only difference is it updates all the info / images instead of just the updated ones.

I have lots of anime in spanish tat are not in anidb DB, is there any way that the plugin search for information in tvdb instead of anidb, in my case if anydb don't found any information tvdb don't scan this files and are marked as unrecognized files.

    Thanks in advance.

This is planned, although there is a lot of ground work that needs to be done before it can happen.

    Hi,

first thx for this great Plugin :)
Since I reinstalled the last MP SVN from scratch, using my backuped database, I cant use the Plugin anymore...
I can Import files, I can browse my Series etc. I can select an Episode and play it, but if I stop it, MP is crashing. It seems that MP crashes in the background during playback....
Thats happen every time I start one episode via the Plugin. In MyVideos no problems at all.
