Hi there,

I just tested the new version a bit. So far the improvements are working very well.

Besides, I have some observations/suggestions:

• The title display in Romanji is working only for newly imported series. Series identified with the former bug remain in english. Maybe a button in the config screen to convert the titles would be helpful
• Is it possible to get a button to set all eps to watched?
• the ed2k.dll is really having issues with large files. It stops at these files and did not continue

I have also made a partial fix to the overlapping for group/series/episode names. Not quite happy with it yet, and doesn't work for monochrome (the skin I use).

Is this plugin related then? I've been searching my a$$ off

Yeah to me it looks like more of a MediaPortal bug, mp-tvseries has a workaround for it which this plugin didn't.
Although the fix doesn't work for monochrome, and I'm not sure why.
I'll keep looking.

I've installed 2.0.4 on my laptop and I've got season options on it, will try my htpc after the Roland Garros finale. It's a different setup, but I've got my fingers crossed. I noticed 2.0.4 has a different (older) ed2k.dll? With the 2.0.3 on my laptop it still didn't hash anything.

It works!! It doesn't retrieve any episode data from the tvdb yet, but at least the menu works!

And I didn't change anything to fix your season switching problem either

I have another menu which doesn't work for you ... when I press anidb menu option 3 (get character/actor info forced) on a group/series, it show the tvdb menu (fanart/banners/posters/switch season).

I can't replicate this one. Does it happen every time?

Yup I can take a look at this soon.
For now There is an option under the AniDB menu to rename a group/series. It will show you a list of romaji, english and synonyms to choose from.
I also have an issue on the list to force the plugin to change how groups/series are displayed i.e.

1. Always use underlying AniDB Romaji name
2. Always use underlying AniDB English name
3. Always use underlying Manually specified name

Mmh, sorry but can not find this option. Where is it exactly located?
If you mean the entry "option" in the right side menu: This has so far no visible function at all (StreamedMP)

Btw: I deleted my old db and started a new import, I observed that eps set to watched are retaining their watched status. Is it stored in the files property?

If you go into the episodes view, and press F9 (or context button).
Should see the menu then?

The watched status is stored on and retrieved from AniDB.

Is working with F9. As I didn't operate MP with keyboard but by remote I had no overview on any keyboard specific commands.

I use a MCE Remote and it is the "Info" button. Not sure about other remotes.

I don't know, but I'm happy with it. Hasing is way faster than before and I don't know why the season switching works now ... I didn't change anything either, only installed the 2.0.4.

Speaking of which (sort of), can you implement a delete option for fanart? (And widebanners and posters in the future?). Sometimes I feel I have to many bikini girls on my desktop, I'm starting to think it's making my girlfriend jealous

Yes it does, I do have to say, the first time it shows a message about trying to update something else first. So I probably used option 1 or 2 to update, and then when I use option 3, it goes to the tvdb option screen everytime.

I use a MCE Remote and it is the "Info" button. Not sure about other remotes.

I have a HID compatible device which is working so far with MP Video and TV settings. There the info button is mapped to the F3 button, though.

Yeah it does download posters if you have the automatic options set.

Yes I have to make liberal use of the Disable option on the Fanart window for my wife's benefit as well.

Yeah, diskspace isn't an issue, so disabling is fine. Sometimes it shows a background which I downloaded, but don't really like, or like I said, too much bikiki ... my girlfriend already thinks I only like it for that ... this doesn't help
